Welcome to SAGLA!

Welcome to the Souderton Area Girl's Lacrosse Association !

SAGLA was established by a dedicated group of coaches on the basis of providing girls in 3rd-8th grade the opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse in a positive, fun  and supportive environment.  SAGLA is not only focused on developing good lacrosse skills and a love for the game but is an organization committed to providing our youth athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience.

SAGLA offers a K-2 introductory lacrosse "Scoopers" program, a 3/4 (no levels) lacrosse program, a "B" and "C" Level (5th/6th and 7th/8th grades) lacrosse program and the Sparks "A" Level competitive lacrosse (5th/6th and 7th/8th grades) program with tryouts in the Fall for the following season.

Have playing or coaching experience?

We are always looking for coaches who want to spread the love of the game and help develop young lacrosse players! Interested in coaching? Email us at  or contact a SAGLA Board member.

PAGLA 5/6 Play Day

PAGLA 5/6 Play Day 2016:  SAGLA 5/6B Green and Orange Teams

The SAGLA 5/6B Green and 5/6B Orange teams participated in the PAGLA 5/6 Play Day at the USTC!  Despite the cloudy weather, cool temperatures and sporadic rain showers the teams each played four games against teams from other PAGLA regions on the well groomed and manicured USTC grass fields.  The girls had a great opportunity to play LAX in a festive environment, put their individual and team LAX skills to the test and spend quality time with their teammates at our last tournament of the year.  Go SAGLA!

Ready to LAX!

Ready to LAX!

Our 8th grade Sparks 7/8A players show that they are always ready to LAX, both on and off the field, regardless of the occasion!  We always ask the girls to find a few minutes every day to work on their stick skills!  This is one dedicated group of players who will add some style, flair and skill to the SAHS Women's LAX program!  Go Sparks!

2016 ICMS vs IVMS LAX Game!

SAGLA players from both the SAGLA Sparks 7/8A and SAGLA 7/8B teams played with and against their teammates in the annual ICMS vs. IVMS Lacrosse Game!  Both teams played with spirit, determination and grit  to determine which school would have bragging rights for the year!  It was thrilling to watch our SAGLA players use both their team and individual skills during the game!   Go SAGLA!  Enjoy the photos!

And congratulations to the ICMS Varsity Girl;s LAX team for their second consecutive undefeated Spring 2016 season!
